Questions About Using HCG to Lose Weight

Q. Are HCG treatments safe?

HCG is a natural hormone and safe for men and women with correct dosages. Pharmaceutical HCG is currently being used in weight loss clinics because it works and it is safe. HCG is prescribed to help fertility issues in men and women, fertility dosages are as high as 6000 IU and higher per single dose. During pregnancy a women’s body contains HCG in amounts as high as 300,000 IU on a daily basis. The dosages for weight loss is very small compared to dosages given for fertility reasons. The diet dose is only 250-500 IU per day.

Q. Are there side effects for men?

It cannot be sufficiently emphasized that HCG is not a sex-hormone, that its action is identical in men, women, children and in those cases in which the sex-glands no longer function owing to old age or their surgical removal.

Q. What can I do to ensure that I lose a pound or more a day?

Here are things you can do to ensure that you lose one pound a day or more.

  1. Drink at least 2 liters of water per day.
  2. Use the B-12/Lipotropic injections to boost your energy and metabolism.
  3. Do not eat genetically modified foods or foods with high fructose corn syrups.
  4. Avoid artificial sweeteners.
  5. Avoid fast food restaurants.

Q. What kind of diet will I follow?

While taking your pharmaceutical-grade HCG diet pills you will be following our 500 calorie meal plan for a minimum 23 days to a maximum of 40 days. Don’t worry, the HCG will flood your body with calories so you won’t feel hungry or tired like you normally would on a diet. There are many people who are experimenting with their own diet recipes. I want to stress that a slight increase in calories or changing the recommended foods could cause negative effects on your weight loss goals.

  • People who want to lose 15 pounds or less will need 23 days of HCG treatment followed by 2 extra days of the low calorie meal plan. 
  • People who need to lose more than 15 pounds will need 40 days of HCG treatments followed by 2 extra days of the low calorie meal plan. If you still need to lose more weight, you need to wait 4 weeks on a maintenance diet before starting a new HCG cycle. 
  • It is recommended that you continue a 1,000-1,200 calorie meal plan for 2 weeks. Your body needs to get used to its new weight.
  • After 2 weeks you can very gradually add starchy foods in small quantities.
